iccaros
free Linux (windows also) released under the GPL game using the doomIII engine.http://entertainment.newsforge.com/article...6/07/06/0414224
naraku9333
I'm not really big on pc gaming (thats what the Gamecube and DS are for) but I thought I'de check this game out and it is pretty cool (though I've only played for about 15 minutes) and runs very well on my system (amd64 3700 and geForce 6800). I would definately recomend this to any gamer (windows or linux) that has a hardware accelerated video card.
Hai-Etlik
It uses the Quake 3 engine, not Doom 3.
Pierce
i was thinking, quake 3 was os'd into gpl, definatly not doom3's engine which hasnt even started to reap benifits of the engin yet. (oh okay theres a few, but compared to the hl1 engine, which is the benchmark it has a lot of ground to catch)Pierce
