I am upgrading my pc and these are the new parts

asus m2n32-sli

amd am2 x2 3800

ocz 2gb ddr2 6400

antec p-150 w/ neo he 430 psu

bfg geforce 7600 video

I am re-using the dvd/cd and hdd.

With just the cpu, video card, and memory installed the computer runs without any problem. When I plug in the power to the hd or dvd the computer turns on for 1 second and shuts down. I also noticed that the mouse is not powered and neither is the keyboard.

I've built my old system and upgraded it before and never experienced problem like this.

Any idea???

Thanks.

Power supply overload? What is the brand/wattage?

As stated in my original thread, the power supply is Antec NeoHE 430W.

With no drives (just CPU, mouse, keyboard, memory, and video card) it will not POST. I replaced the mobo and cpu with identical ones and still it won't POST.

It could just be faultly. My old 500 watt PSU powerd powered parts of my system but couldnt do the entire thing but my new 500 Watt PSU does it just fine. A rail might be damaged or failing. PSU's are weird things sometimes...See if you can borrow sombody's or maybe buy one and then return it if you are still having problems.
