But when it comes back to the 'welcome screen' and i try to shut it down, it does shut down and stays off. Any ideas? Thankyou Right click on My ComputerSelect PropertiesSelect the Advanced Tab->Startup & Recovery sectionSelect the Settings buttonuncheck "Automatically restart" Apply".
