I use "one click shutdown" with XPHome and it works well but where can I look to find the keyboard shortcuts?

the code to the k-board shut down

is right click your shut down icon -. in the short cut window

press ctrl--alt and any key you nominate.and use these 3 keys to shut down.

the actual shut down code for win 98 and me i

c:\windows\rundll.exe user.exe,exit windows

hey i got this from the c.f.h archives .

my there are some handy tips in there .56.000 of them.

you can give this shortcut a shortcut key (to shutdown via keyboard)

To Shut Down or Restart Windows with one mouse click:

1. Right-click the Desktop and select New > Shortcut

2. In the Command line box type:

rundll.exe user.exe,exitwindows

for one click shut down

rundll.exe user.exe,exitwindowsexec

for one click restart

rundll.exe shell32.dll,SHExitWindowsEx 0

for one click Log off

3. Click Next and give it the appropriate name (Shut Down or Restart)

To change the icon on the shortcut, right-click on the shortcut, and select Change Icon. Some nice icons can be found in \Windows\System\shell32.dll.

well i simply use the Windows key > U > U for XP

Wndows key > U > enter for Win2k
