hey team

my it has changed at g4

i was reading a post and the swear words

were in every post

so i tried it

and i didnt hold back

and guesse what it wasnt banned

i feel a bit guilty

because children may read my post

and i wouldnt like that.

it sure has changed

i remember my post was banned at one stage

because i refered to a gay person as a poofta

that is how we refer to these people down here

even politicians refer to them like that.

but i should say it sure has changed at g4 .

Yes, they've turned off the language filters over there, almost anything goes. Thankfully, this forum has a family atmosphere and improper language is not acceptable.

Marty, they allow links to porn now, too....Keep the kids away from it!!! ("poofta", never heard of that one. You should post a list of New Zealand Slang. I love the slang you use, it makes me smile and laugh out loud every single time :) )

hi goman87

i dont want to post a link

it has swear words

i will post the thread

------------------------------------------------------

thank you for bringing CFH back

--------------------------------------------------------------

when i posted i knew ide get a response

so i deliberetly

swore to see what sort of reaction i would get .

it dosent worry me apart from children reading the post

but there is swearing all through the board

on all forums

call for help is only a name now

to try and get the older posters back

some of those boys i guess are very young

what sort of society are we breeding now .

i wouldnt dare swear in my own community.

hi liz

yes it seems every thing goes over there now

i remember i was getting a hard time about the use of words and phrases

i use .

and i happen to mention

the cockney culture in england

who have a language of its own

and g4 banned the first part

of the word

by reposting

x-=xney

so the word cockney is used all over the world

but on g4 message board

i was flabbergasted.

i have a book here with nz and aussy

words and phrases .

it comes natural to me .

and my culture

but ile look for it and post a few for you

Cockney was considered a "censored" word???? Hahahahaha, the powers that be don't do much schoolwork, do they??

I remember laughing at Keith L Dick's problem with G4 not allowing him to use his screename when the boards first changed from TTV. Poor guy. But his posts were quite hilarious. Fortunately one of the Mods that knew him well straightened it out.
