...it's our yearly pow-wow where we all get together and party for 4 days...usually about 60,000 people attend over the 4 days.

They have a yearly Pow Wow at the casino here (Louisiana Coushatta's), that has tribes from all over the country.

I like to go, when I get a chance.

Particularly like the music, and tribal dances.

Interesting stuff.

the pow-wow is open to everyone...even white eyes..LOL people are there from far away as alaska.

I've had the pleasure of going to one pow wow and it was amazing. I loved the dances and the costumes and especially the hospitality. Are you performing in it?

On another note, there is a "follow up" to that closed thread. Now, I thought and thought before posting it because I didn't want to ruffle any feathers, but I perceived this thread as "good humor", and perhaps an apology to the OP on the original locked thread. I laughed and laughed. Hopefully the readers will see it in the same tongue-in-cheek humor that I did. If not, I'm really sorry. I have sort of a warped sense of humor.

Oh well, that place is such a disaster, I'm surprised more people don't leave. Though I guess it is like watching a bad accident on the freeway, hard to avert your eyes.

I made him so mad that he posted a topic that got locked...after that I haven't seen anymore posts by him. Did you realize he's 44 years old? Am I the only one that finds his love for Leo HIGHLY disturbing?

The board is a train wreck right now...tons of 8 year olds that all have around 50 posts...they're crawling all over the place.

Well with all of the new people flooding in, I'm sure any last ounce of intelligence will be wiped off the board and all of the regs will be between 5-12 years old. That place used to be cool to ask for help at. The funny thing is, when I asked for help here about converting different media formats to DVD it was answered within like 10 minutes and it was a very well thought answer...the answers on that board now consist of random guesses, but what do you expect out of kids?

Whats funny is, he has described her as a great friend of the show. I am sure that if he didn't want her moderating, she wouldn't be. I think that is the reason the shafted Pete, just because Leo didn't like him(for some undisclosed reason).

The word pervert might be a little strong, he seems to be a womanizer with a tendency to say exactly what he is thinking at the time, but I wouldn't call him a perv.

that animosity goes along way back

when i first joined techtv c.h

it was there then

and pete was in the right .

when we came to g4 it spilled over there .

and some mods tried to get pete vetoed

we had a thread as long as your arm who were all in favour of pete

i posted at the time

about the chanel being closed to this part of the world .

and we believed leo was instrimental

in not endorsing the chanel

and i can tell you 30.000

of us arnt happy with that discision.

one mod pmed me and said i didnt know the story about pete and leo

and abused me

so i coppied and pasted my post

and sent it to the board

and no where in the post did it mention pete or leo

our beef was we werent getting the chanel

but still paying for the service .

i see that mod is now a member of this board

i dont intend to publish the name

he was one who tried to censure pete

how ever that is in the past

and i dont want to make this a contriversal issue .

so i forgot about it until this g4 thing came up
