Ever since the sharing of files, music, movies, and apps started a few years ago, i have been adding to my library and expanding my tastes in lots of music. It is easier to tell you what i stay away from, more than what i listen to, so here goes. In my 7000+ :o song library, I don't have any Gosple, Operah, or any song in another language other than English.

But my list is almost endless. You name a song, i'll give you back 10-20 songs with the same band, if not more...everything from Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Rock and Roll, Country, Showtunes, Punk Rock, Alternative Rock, Underground Punk, R&B, Rap, all in the ranges of 60-70-80-90's and today's new music. Although it seems a little trivial with all the songs i have, I am more a movie collector/watcher...my close friends call me the Movie Nerd...I just say it is better than watching commercials on TV B) ...enjoy

Heya Liz,

my son introduced my 72 year old mother to Punk Rock (...she wanted to know what's new in music...) and she absolutely LOVES NFG!!

Yea, NFG is awesome! I like them a lot too. Btw, you have a really really cool mom and for your son he has a really really cool grandma.

Hi B and Matt,

Thanks for the comments, I'll have to pass that on to Gramma, she'll get a kick out of it! Think she likes punk because she grew up in the Swing Era--she did the jitterbug with all the flips (and son loves swing music and swing dancing--must be in them genes) Punk and Swing are such "active" music. Don't think she'll fare well in a mosh pit, though :P Liz

See for yourself :). I suggest anyone who listens to a lot of music to check out the site and signup. The only downside I can see is that they have a lot of users who listen to a lot of music so naturally it takes a lot server side. Because of this, they're sometimes down and other times just slow.

Into the sky

A song I'll never get sick of I don't think: The Mars Volta - Cassandra Gemini. At a tad over half an hour long, the second time you hear it it's like hearing a completely new song

Ooh yeah... Lenny nice pick. i got to see him in concert with Pink.He draws this really cool laid back crowd...Awesome concert :D

Snaxe i'm looking to listen to this one you mentioned . At half an hour it sounds extra choice...

Today in the grocery store I heard "Raspberry Beret" by Prince. Yeah, I know, its a corny one, but you know what? It sounded just as cheerful as it did all those years ago when it was new. Still makes me smile. :) Liz

PS--and I would love to see Pink try jazz--she just seems to have "that voice" wouldn't she be good?
