martymas Posted July 4, 2009 Author Report Share Posted July 4, 2009 (edited) yes it has taken me some time toget to grips with it. i find it needs a fair bit of resourcesfor instancesi tried to install it on a 16gig hdd512 mgram 1gig cpuand buggered if i could get it to install once i used a bigger sys it installed ok tho i had to use an external hddcarriagewith an eighty gig hdddoes any one think it is a resource hogand why didnt it install on the smaller sys any one have any answersso i can retry but yes it is a good sys quite stableto quote mattstable enough to be boringin regards to the ubuntu clubit is comming along nicenew but we are all learningmany ask where did you learn all about linuxso i tell a little white lieime clever enough to figure it outtho i have mentioned the boardand hitestthey are also memebers of a nz message boardand the 15 of us use the ubuntu sig we get a lot of questions askedthanks for the encouragementmarty Edited July 4, 2009 by martymas Quote Link to post Share on other sites
