Congratulations robroy

Good for you, it is not easy. I know, I quit 7 yrs ago, and now have no desire to smoke. You will be OK now, because why ruin one whole year with 1 cigarette.

I'm proud of you too.

Barb

I quit for 3 years once. I'm still smoking today. There's no safe amount of time for an addict. One day at a time. That's all you get. However you do it.

Echoing the sentements of my fellow posters, congratulations. I can truly say that is probably the hardest thing a human can do. It is certainly the hardest thing I have done in my life. I still have smoking dreams where I wake up feeling guilt and dread that I am going to have to break the addiction again. Those dreams make me stay clean.
