hitest
HelpI am new to this Linux and am trying to download flash player and Java but it will not let me could someone help??Donna Hi Donna,Installing flash in Ubuntu is straight-forward. You need to fire-up the program synaptic in the administration section of Ubuntu. When you click on Synaptic it will prompt you for your password, enter it. Once synaptic is running in the search bar type in flash. Choose adobe flash, non-free. You will be asked if you want to enable the non-free repositories. Say yes. Click apply after you've selected it and it should download, install flash for you. Re-start your web browser and flash should work. For java in the synaptic search bar type in jre and select the java entries that come up. Again click apply and java should be set-up.
