Besttechie Posted August 12, 2008 Report Share Posted August 12, 2008 Just received this email from the data center the BestTechie server is located:- Maintenance window:Start Date and Time: 2008-Aug-17 02:00 ESTEnd Date and Time: 2008-Aug-17 04:00 ESTAction and Reason: Edge router hardware upgrade for increased capacityLocation of work: New York, US. Description of work: Webair will be upgrading a customer facing edgerouter, installing additional 10 Gigabit interfaces. Service will be failedover to a redundant router during the maintenance window. Client Impact:Clients may experience brief packet loss while service is switched to the redundantrouters and back. We have taken every precaution to ensure that your service will not be effected. Please note that the maintenance window is scheduled for off peak hours as well.Just thought I would inform everyone.
