adz
Hello,My friend finally agreed to switch to Ubuntu but unfortunately I could not find the modem drivers for her. I also own a 3000 but I use DSL so I don't need the internal modem. However my friend has some free dial up. Does anybody know where I can download a driver for it?And on a semi-related note, does anyone know where I can get a cheap wifi card for a desktop (I was thinking around 20 bucks). Maybe she can share my connection
shanenin
I think your easier route would be to get a linux compatible wifi adapter.check out this link, it has some good info about compatible wifi adaptershttp://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=367917from what I read, this chipset is natively supported with ubuntuhttp://ralink.rapla.net/ Edited June 28, 2007 by shanenin
