is it worth it to get river tuner and unlock my nvidia 6800 GS co edition, i mean, i have 12 pixel pipelines, i could get 16, and 4 more shaders....it is worth it and do anyof you reccomend it or disapprove it.

i got a XION II and i love it so far, even though the jumpers are a pain in the ass and i cant figure it out for someof them. but other than that its awesome. and about only 65 bucks (with 450WPS that hasent failed even with my 6800 GS)

yea, i think i might try to bring it back and see if theycan clean it for free. but for some reason i still think it has something to do with my comp. is it possible to manlly install it? like, copy all of contents of the cd into the folder it belongs? or wil lthat still not work..

ive been brain storming why this wouldent work. it has to be something wrong with my PC. malware mabye? trojan? perhaps i hve a processes running that will not make it work. or mabye its as simple as updating my installshield which is what that game uses...

well the weird thing is that when i tried to install it the first timei put it in the CD drive and i got an "a problem occured when trying to copy eauninstall.exe" (or something) then when i tried to install from the DVD drive and in safe mode, and i got past the DISC 1 error, but got the same error but with a different file on DISC 2. so im not sure what to do. i got virtual CD but it was to confusing so i uninstalled it

i bought a copy of NFSMW and everytime i try to install it i get an error saying "an error as occured when trying to copy blah blah blah...." the first time it was on CD one and this was in my CD drive, so i went into safe mode and tried to install from my dvd and i got to the second dic and got the same error but on a different file, EA support dosent really give specific answer but i did clear my temp and end some processes and i even went into safe mode, so im not sure what it is other than i need a new version of installshield, any other tips?

ok so i FINALLY got my internet back...i had to reformat again. so my comp came with Nortan Anti-Virus so i got the live updates....then i had to restart. when i came back i could not connect to the internet....no i had to do the same thing all over again. why does this happen? this is such an inconvienence. any help? oh and another thing.... does this mean i won't have my internet after the "lease expired" date?

i am having trouble disableing it in bios, i see no option for it. can i disable it like this? will this work

one question i have is how do i disable my onboard graphics? i know its in bios so i should be able to find it. anyother tips?

and it was a pain in the ass. it came with a binch of pins that were only 2 prongs and had "hdd" "power sw" "reset" ect and i had to read on the mother board where these go, and as i am posting i still dident get it right. there is a "XION" text that lights up, and also the button on the front is supposed to light up, which it dosent. and there is a blue LED fan on the side that ligts up, which it dosent. so i dont really know what to do. it has 3 fans and i set them up like one connecting to the other and the last one connectin to the PS like i am supposed to(i think) and i can hear the fans,

thats what i was thinkin, its less money but it dosent say open GL 2.0 ...and also it dosent list any features or requirements so it looks pretty sketchy, but i still dont know its such a tough decision.

Which one should i choose? money is not an option but cheaper is better.

its a HP a320n...im to worried about this because i am getting a nvidia 6800 OC for my birthday in 13 days...so i dont really care. but when i tried to play AOEIII i could bareley read the text..it was all blocky and i was missing some things during the game. this is just one of many problems i have been having with this and valve since i installed my new ram to 1gig. but i installed AOEIII today...and it ran so much worse than when i got the demo when it came out. i mean, i could actually see stuff in the demo.

when i went to install it i got the same message "windows could not load the installer for display. please contact your hardware vendor for assistance." ...dang

so i have all these comp games and with most of them i get a warning that my drivers are out of date. so i go to update and i dont know what version i have. the sticker on the front of my comp says geforce 4 MX...but then AOEIII said nforce2......and there is no nforce 2 in the nvidia driver update page. so i went to run dvdiag to save my info and this is what it said. --------------- Display Devices --------------- Card name: NVIDIA GeForce4 MX Integrated GPU Manufacturer: NVIDIA Chip type: GeForce4 MX Integrated GPU DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC Device Key

hi again, i was wondering what specifies a ATX mobo? or a baby AT or a microATX....i am buying a new case and i need to find out what mine is to see what case i need to get, my comp is a pavillion a320n, i cant find anything to specify what mine is. thank you all. EDIT: i found at the HP site it says for form factor.. Form Factor : uATX what is uATX mean....universal ATX?

quick question, can i take all my parts that are in my comp, and transfer them into a custom case? i mean, its possible right? and if so, do i get a ATX or a diff one? because i see good ones on new egg, im thinkin about getttin one with a PSU in it just because it will last for atleast a month then get a good one...anyway...will it work?
