Ive had an older version of alcohol installed on my machine, so i figured i would update to the newest version. I uninstalled the older version but i stupidly did not reboot like it told me to do I installed the newest version, and then rebooted and found out that my old virtual drive was still there. For some reason i cannot figure out how to remove this virtual drive, now instead i cannot use it or remove it through windows or alcohol, that i have found. lol any ideas?

Ive tried to, and it gives me results that deal with javascript and programing? Dont know why its giving me such troubles since im not the one that runs the website. Ive asked others around my area, and theirs seem to be running fine. This thing has me puzzled! Hello all, since yesterday morning i have been having trouble with myspace. When i go to the site, it will take minutes to load, and when it finally does "load" i am unable to view the page correctly. All i see is some pictures, and colors, but no graphical things. I also get some script errors saying "object expected" on line such and such and on char such and such. I have cleared my cache, cookies etc. and have reseted my modem as well. Is it just me?? Any suggestions? **I have also tried going to the site using IE, maxthon, and firefox but same thing occurs.

Just tried logging in and it worked for me. maybe you should try cleaning ur cache, cookies, etc. are you using firefox, maxthon or some other browser? try using IE or a different browser.

LOL !!!!! Im such an idiot!!! I just tried it with nero and it worked perfectfully. I cant believe all the time i spent converting to .wav while i could have done it quicker and with just one program hahahahahaa.

Yes i did have a printer plugged in, but i did remove it since it went crazy when trying to print something, i think it was because the ink cartidge was jammed but i aint sure. Bottom line is that its unplugged. I also have uninstalled diskeeper 8.0 and it hasnt frozen since then. Could this have caused my freezing? Hopefully my computer wont freeze because of this again. Thanx for all the suggestions guys, I will keep all those in mind. Ive been hearing a lot about using a program that will free up ur memory. Should i use such a program? I haven freed uped my memory since ived purchased it back in '03 and i do use it a lot. What do these types of programs actually do? Is it wise to run them? If so, how often should u do it. And what program would you guys recommend?(preferably freeware)

I still havent been able to stop this freezing. I rolled back my video card drivers back to the factory ones, still froze, then to the next driver (but not the current ones) and its still freezing. Any solutions to this? Could it be that i dont have a big enough power supply? I know since ive installed my dvd burner i went over my power wattage by like 20 or 30 watts, but i havent had any noticeble problems as a result of the power supply. Still maybe i should see to that? I was thinking since i dont use my floppy drive would it be wise to uninstall that to pull it from grabbing power? How do

hey thanx for the suggestion guys, but i am not looking for an app like that. Im looking for a program that will convert mp3 files into an audio cd that u can listen to on cd player. See to make an audio cd i usually do this, make a playlist with winamp, then also with winamp convert those mp3 files to wav. Then take those wav files and put them into windows media player and then burn all the wav files onto a cd. What i want is to only use one program to convert and burn, instead of using 2 like i do.

Guys sorry for the mislead here, im not sure whats causing my comp. to freeze now. I have just uninstalled the audio driver and i rebooted serval times to make sure it was certainy this driver. Well after about 7 times of rebooting it froze when trying to "load" the taskbar. I have windows home. Could it be a rundll32.exe acting corrupt? I have had a problem in the past with this .exe. Yea one time it froze, restarted still froze, restarted still froze, and then i went into safe mode and uninstalled the audio driver and sure enough it booted correctly. I installed a new driver, rebooted and it did not show up in updates. I have checked driverguide.com and various other sites for other drivers and I cannot find one thats stable. Recently within the past week, my computer has been freezing during startup. It sometimes occurs on window's welcome screen, it just freezes and i have to restart manually. Other times it happens when my computer loads to the desktop, but the taskbar stays blue (as if it was still trying to load) and then of course it freezes. Hello all, Just yesterday i installed zone alarm pro, and since then i have had 1,420 intrusions and its still going up as i type this. The intrusions are coming inbound and they appear to be from different ip addreses although some are duplicates. The alert type is firewall, and most of the protocols are "TCP (flags:S)", what ever that is. Since the rating on them are medium, is this normal? Or is this something to worry about?

I have another question about my dvd burner so i might as well ask it here. Can i burn to discs that are at a lower speed? for example my dvd burner burns +R discs at 16x, can i burn to discs say that are 8X or lower? If the brand quality is good, can i still have the data burned at a good quality as well? oh btw my dvd burner is a sony dru-710a with the latest firmware version.

So install the cds, and then make a image and then mount it on a virtual drive? will this allow me to play the game without the first cd in the drive? and how many of these virtual drives can my computer have? or will it allow me to have as many as i want as long as i have space on my hd?

but nero doesnt allow you to copy copyprotected games.......especially the games i want to backup since they are new and all.

hehehehe sorry for the bother guys. ok well i have searched the web on how to backup pc games but i cant figure it out. i installed cloneCD once again and i was able to copy a pc game into a blank disc. i tried to play the game with the burned copy, but it told me to make sure the game cd is inserted in the cdrom. did i do something wrong? I also have alcohol and nero was well. should i use alcohol instead? how exactly do i use alcohol to back up a pc game? how do i backup a game that has more than one install disc? thanx for all your help guys.

Hello all, im looking for a program that will encrypt and decrypt files as well. I have maxcrypt but i have too many files and it takes a looong time. I would like the program to be stealthed if possible, in other words i dont want other users on my pc to know i have that program installed. I have searched google and cant find a decent one, and im looking for a freeware app if possible.
