  1. It's important to point out that those procedures won't work on either of the home versions, only business or better.
  2. I figured it might be something like that. Thanks for the info and link.
  3. I have Everest Home Edition 2.2 and am wondering what some numbers mean in storage>SMART. There are columns headed Threshold, Value, Worst, and Data. There are no units of measurement so I don't really know what I'm looking at. I am particularly interested in the C2 Temperature since I just replaced the original 20GB 4200 RPM hard drive with a 60GB 5400 RPM drive and I want to make sure the drive doesn't cook. I couldn't find an explanation in the Lavalys forums so I'm hoping someone here knows how to read this data.
  4. I would suggest returning it and getting a Wacom tablet instead. They come highly recommended and I have never had any trouble from mine.
  5. As per the EULA, you may only have one install per license.

    About U?

No, I learned a lot by just poking around and seeing what things did. I frequent several tech boards and picked up plenty more knowledge by reading the solutions to people's problems. You never know it all, so I expect I'll continue to learn cool tricks and troubleshooting skills.
  7. There are a few choices to solve this. 1. The column widths are dictated by the longest entry. You can rename any folders or shortcuts with long names to something shorter. 2. You can also set up the menu to scroll through the list and get rid of multiple columns altogether. Right click start|properties|customize|advanced tab|under start menu items check scroll programs. 3. You can group shortcuts into folders in whatever arrangement suits you to shorten the list. Right click start and select explore. Open up the programs folder and do your editing there. Then right click start and select expl

    About U?

I'm a recent crossover from the G4 board after originally starting with the TTV board around 2002 or so. I'm a 34 year old dude originally from Alabama, but my career in the Navy has had me living in several places. I currently live in Jacksonville, FL, with my wife (also Navy) and our daughter (too young yet to join the Navy). I enjoy cooking and detailing cars. I picked up the detailing gig between after leaving active duty. That didn't pay as well as flying with the Navy, so I affiliated with the reserves to get back in the air and pull down some extra cash. I am also a home theater and car
  9. No special meaning to me. It's just my first name and last two initials. The avatar is the aircraft I make my living on - 3300 flight hours so far.
  10. Visit Kelly's Korner and run the reg edit on line 18, right column. "To use the Regedits: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by right clicking on the file and selecting Edit."
  11. Hi gang. It appears many of the TTV regulars have settled here. I was able to participate on the boards there for a couple of years before the switch. The G4 forum holds little interest for me now and I'd rather be in a more mature place. So here I am. Hopefully I'll be able to offer some good info.
