in the past ive found this problem if the drive hasent been formated if you havent a floppy drive you can get an external one can you format the drive on another compt normally this needs to be done on the compt you are using the drive on or a compt with similiar components the other solution is have you faciality for two hdds one with an operating sys windows set the new drive as the slave and the one with the sys as the master open the bios and make the compt recognise the drives once that is done open you operating sys go to administrating tools compt management disk management an

i emailed the bbc and they said in the uk it is 9 percent in europe it has a bigger share because it is the default browser of all linux sys's so when you install any linux sys you get fire fox comming ready or not so naturally it has a bigger share like microsopft with IE tho micro soft has more browser choices than linux the difference is with linux you get a limited choice of browsers tho i like linux i have ubuntu but i never use fire fox and havent used it since i started using linux marty

jd what if you closed off your cookies would that help when i used win98 i was taught to keep my cookies tight and it worked not a 100 percent but 99 percent by closing your cookies ie would question the site then it was up to you isnt that what firefox does control the cookies it is harder to get that stuff with out a platform and the cookie is a platform marty

UberTechie if you think your hdd is failing open this link scrol to maxtor and load it on to a floppy when loaded set your boot order to read from the floppy once maxtor is opened follow the screens and scan your hdd there are many options in there this will tell you if your drive is ok there are several options in there for you marty http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=287

hi bar i have vista on one machine and xp on the other i like this malwarebytes i did the quick scan and it found none but when i did a thorough scan it found this adware zango with the xp scan it found nothing on both options but im not sure why one scan was longer than the other a difference of 2hrs and 10 minutes ive tried many of these scanners but this isnt to bad ime keeping it
