Sidekickcat, you should make the switch to dsl. You'll be amazed at how it makes surfing so much better than dialup. You are plenty knowledgeable to do it. Besides you have everyone here to help you. I'm pretty sure you have all the precautions taken care of already.

I definitely like the old school approach. Those C7 bulbs were the best and less is better. We used to have bulbs that were almost like lava lamps. Man bulb making is definitely a lost art. I wish I still had those old bulbs from my grandparents.

I've had problems in the past with extensions, so I'm leary. It's working great right now so I'm in no big hurry. I'm glad your transition was smooth though.

I like having a back up for this site. I don't know if it's costing you anything, that would make a difference, but even this weekend I think bearskin and Chappy were having trouble accessing this site. Glitches happen and it's nice to have a back up place to meet up. It's totally your call though.

As usual, I will wait a while for the kinks to get worked out.
