  1. Well he is in for one hell of a shock when I show up on his doorstep next month. I am going to drive up there unannounced. I am just curious how he is going to react. I hope he doesn't have any guns.......HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....No really I am going to WI anyway so this is the time to meet the man face-to-face eh?....

  2. I have looked but can someone tell me what those blue blocks under your avatar are for? Just wondering, some people seem to have more than others. Is it like a status thing or what?.......Hahahahahahahaha.....And yes as long as I have been a memer I just noticed it.......Hahahahahahahaha....Oh yea, Pete are you a mod here now?....

  3. If the drive is that new I would go to the manufacturers site, run their diagnostic software. If it finds anything then just ask for an RMA and get the drive replaced. I think most major drive makers offer like a 3 year warranty these days. I have had brand new drives D.O.A. so newness is really not a factor.....

  4. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...a pain rookie! Man try JD and Demerol....Now that will allow you to do you own surgery if you choose......HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....Just kidding, no I my two bros suffer from srewed backs/necks. I don't have the problem but I can sure relate from what they go through......

  5. I bet if you posted this story over there on that "other" place it would set a record for getting banned........

Woman Gets Cable Bill With Derogatory Name

    Aug 17, 8:30 PM (ET)

CHICAGO (AP) - LaChania Govan said she got bounced around by her cable company when she called to complain. She made dozens of calls and was even transferred to a person who spoke Spanish - a language she doesn't understand.

But when she got her August bill from Comcast she had no trouble understanding she'd made somebody mad. It was addressed to "Bitch Dog."

"I was like you got to be freaking kidding me," said Govan, 25. "I was so mad I couldn't even cuss."

Govan said the only thing she did to Comcast employees that might be considered rude came after a few dozen calls when she felt she was treated shabbily. "I did tell them, 'You know what, it has to be a qualification to work for your company that you have to be rude,'" she said.

Govan said she talked to a supervisor and he offered her two months free service, which she turned down.

Finally Wednesday, about two weeks after she got her bill, somebody from the company left a message on her answering machine in which the caller apologized.

Comcast officials said it shouldn't have happened.

"We only use the actual customers names on the bill," said Patricia Andrews-Keenan, a Comcast spokeswoman.

Company officials went through the records and identified two people who were involved with the name change and fired them, Andrews-Keenan said. It's unknown why the employees did it.

Just wanted to say hi to all after my short departure and want to thank all who sent their thoughts and prayers.

The quick of the update is that I am doing better after my triple bypass. Physical therapy has been a challenge as far as stretching the stitches. Have had to move from my place closer to town and to an environment that does not rely on firewood for heat. The bad thing is until I sell my place and find a new place of my own, I have to stay with my mom. The good thing is it will pull the two of us closer. A person can never really tell their mother how much they mean to them, especially even when they are in need of their help.

Have to still take it easy on certain things for a while, but all will be fine. Thanks to you all for your thoughts, words of encouragement, blessings and prayers.

    Cabdad.

  10. I just Reinstalled windows on my pc. Unfortunatly for some reason my 250gb Hard drive lost all of its info. I MUST HAVE IT BACK it is super important. I was semi succesfull in getting it to work so far. I got a program that showed the files that were on the hard drive, but it was a demo of an expensive program. Does anyone know of a good freeware program to help me? I treid restoration but it didnt work, i am guessing a partition was created over the files.
