    I wish to thank you all for the help. Especially for the link to devcon. I could not find it for the life of me. Well I got it fixed and not that this will ever come up again but I used the defcon rescan command and it reset the devices and now DM works like a charm. I don't know what happened but all is well now.......Hahahahahahahaha......a nice start to the day. I think I will have a drink.......JUST KIDDING!......

    That is a very handy tool and I would reccomend it for the hardcore people......Hahahahahahaha......

    I kind of looked at some of those but that is the problem. The device manager stops responding. It the device manager itself that is hanging. Other than that the macine runs perfectly with no problems at all......Weird eh? I have have scanned it with everything I can think of to no avail.....GRRRRRR!!!!!.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHA....I even replaced the ddl for DM and it still doesn't work.....

    That's weird HP. I just checked my sygate while logged in over there and I'm not getting that. Might be time for some scans.

    I have scanned with Avast,also Spybot,Adaware,and M$ spyware. Looks like another scan is in order.

    But it could be that DHS IS watching me. I've been known for my Bush-bashing.

    Well I have had to much JD and I have lost all patience with this thing. No matter where you attempt to open the device manager it just stops responding with a blank window and no devices are showing. I think it must be a driver somewhere but how would one disable a device without being able to use the device manager eh? Hahahahahahaha......I know M$ has a developer's tool that replaces the device manager but I can't seem to find it. I have seen it before. So does anyone have an idea what is going on with this thing. Running XP (Home) if that matters....I think I will now go over to TT's bar.......HAHAHAHAHAHA....I have had it with this thing for one night....Oh yes and it has no USB devices on it so it is not that USB thing......

    Maybe that's why G$ suddenly loosened the rules so anything goes. They are just piping things back to the feds.......Hahahahahahahaha.....Maybe you also said one of those "keywords" they talk about. I don't know if it is true or just bull but I have heard certain words and phrases key a system that starts to track you.......Hahahahaha....I think it's bull myself but who knows...

    I just happened to look at the board staff and I was kind of shocked that I hardly know any of them......Hahahahahahahaha........A lot of names there I have never seen on the board before. Not that I sit on here 24/7 but it was just kind of strange to me. I had no idea there were so many.......No deal just was a suprise to me....

    Thanks for the support. The more I read about the people involved with DestiNY USA I begin to wonder how it would work out. They are all devious staunch Republicans that don't care who they run over to get their way. They are preparing to use the Supreme Court's Eminent Domain decision to displace 29 small businesses.     i put the proper amount on the stuff burns away my fan doesn't spinfast enough and i have been told i could have contaminated it with oils from my hand which I very well could have BUT i have used articlean everytime.

    I saw that message. I tried to answer but that other place is not working for some reason. It won't even let me logon. I can't even get to the logon page. I am going to try and call him this weekend and see what is up. I was planning on going up that way around the end of Sept. We have talked about this for a couple of years but something always seemed to come up with me. I will keep everyone informed if I can get him on the phone this weekend.....

    Yes I've gone to the HP page........I insert my disk.....I go to Start>Control Panel>Printers and Hardware>Printers and Faxes>Add Printer

    It's not in the list, so I click HP and then Have disk....I point to where the disk is in the CD Rom drive, and it says the driver is not digitally signed...I tried to point to "have disk" again and it does nothing. Everything I read says that this HP is not compatible wtih XP unless I have an updated driver. Any place I look for a driver says that it's not available for XP......

    I guess you have to sign up to see the page. it is free and quick but they do list several drivers for that printer......

    I forgot about the cost of suits, shoes and accessories. Less stress involved with bartending and the dinner clientèle are mostly business owners and their families. Not only would the tips be good but I could get insight to the local job scene.
