  1. Just wonder? How many members do we have now? And how many of those members are also active at g4techtv?

    Welcome Dragon Slayer.

I'd rather visit AOHell than g4.

Oh my gosh! This message is over a year old! How in the world did it get bumped up?......HAHAHAHAHAHA.....jeesh.....

  2. Grrrrr. I'm taking a break from trying to get this adblock to work. Thanks for helping TT_75. I found my ini file by turning off the known file ext. but still can't get it going. I'm going to go at it again later. il_wiccan do you get ads at G4?

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I used this adblocker. Just had to edit the filter.ini file and it works fine. No ads here at all.......Adblocker

By "here" I meant like on G$ and etc......Hahahahahaha....

  3. We could use some of the long time Opera users to create an Opera support thread. I am trying to answer the questions while learning to use it myself. There seems to be confusion as to finding the right location for or not finding certain files. I can't answer some of these questions seeing as I don't use WinXP. Here's question for the regular users. I have a WinXP PC sitting here that belongs to a client. Can I download Opera on it and use my code so I can try to understand what problems XP users are having installing the plug-ins?

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I put it on 5 of mine using the same code with no problems.....

  4. Copy Link Address in the right-click menu?

Since I gather this is a Firefox extension or something, it would help if you could elaborate on what it does.

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Well in IE you have a rt click option to copy the link, or url from like your favorites. You can then drop it into a message or whatever. The actual name for the IE program is CopyURL. I am looking for something like this for Opera.....

  5. Just had a wierd occurance with the mouse.  While playing solitare, when I held the button down for a few extra seconds the cards started jumping around.  Could any of the above problems be associated in some way with my mouse?  Everything stems from a mouse click.

Or am I being too hopeful...LOL!

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Maybe try another mouse if you have one. It might be one of the buttons is sticking sometimes and giving multiple clicks or something. I know my wireless one starts going wacky like that when the batteries are getting low......

  6. Unfortunately, I have NOOOO clue how to do that kind of stuff.  Especially with the registry...I wouldn't even attempt to touch that.  Oh, well....looks like I call Gateway tomorrow.  :(

You might try a system restore if you have a fairly new restore point. It might be worth a try because it should have the settings for IE.......

  7. whenever I use peer guardian i find that its blocking the trackers on azureus. Is there a way i can find the IP of the tracker and allow it to pass through PG?

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I don't use Peerguardian, I use SafePeer a plugin for Azurues. It works very well for me no problems at all. It auto updates every time you initiate Azureus......

    Azureus Plugins

One other thing since it auto updates sometimes it will take Azureus awhile to load. You will see it stopped at the Safe Peer loading. It is just updating and it can take a minute or two sometimes. The delay is normal and not the program hanging.....

  8. Ok, Mac.... I'ma thinking my car can run on moonshine cheaper than gas... What do I need to do? (besides have a double now)  Line 'em up barkeep! Ole No.7 all around.

Tell you what I will volunteer to test the "octane" level of your fuel........HAHAHAHAHAHAHA........

  9. I am not sure unbanning you guys is any kind of favor for sure........Hahahahahahaha.....all that is over there now is the "Suck up to Leo Club" and filthy mouthed little brats........but I will answer a real tech question once in awhile. They seem to be far and few these days....
